I've been a voice impersonator, celebrity voice impressionist, whatever you'd like to call it, for a while now--specifically, a Bill Clinton voice impersonator. The first time I imitated Bill Clinton's voice on the radio was back in 1992. I remember my first inspiration for the voice: Staying up for Saturday Night Live, waiting to see what Phil Hartman, and later Darrell Hammond would do with his character. So you can imagine how reassuring it is for me that Bill Clinton is still in the news. And it just keeps getting better as we get closer to 2016.
I know this may get some Republicans down, but in a recent poll, voters said they were more likely to vote for Hillary, by a 13-point margin from her GOP challengers. 24 percent more likely. And the presidency of her hubby Bill Clinton has a positive impact too.
So, politics aside, this revelation makes a Bill Clinton voice impersonator like me, very happy. As our former president once said, "It's the economy stupid."
