Terminator: Genesis is about to start production in April with series star Arnold Schwarzenegger ready to return to the role that made him an icon. Arnold spoke to MTV recently, and along with revealing some plot details, he explained how the script handles the idea that his robotic killing machine can look thirty years older than he did when he first appeared in the original if robots do not age. Arnold said that "while there is a machine underneath, on top of the metal skeleton is human flesh, and just like any other flesh it ages. Maybe not as quickly as a human’s but it certainly does over time." I think there may be an easier explanation about the terminator robot getting older, and it has to do with this audio clip of a very advanced copy of the trailer to the film. Written and produced by the always funny Andy Harris. The voice of Arnold Schwarzenegger is supplied by me. By the way, Terminator: Genesis is slated for release in July, 2015.

He was one of the best, and definitely one of the busiest voice actors of his time. Hal Douglas, who probably voiced as many movie trailers and tv promos as the late great Don Lafontaine, died at his home in Virginia earlier this week. He was 90. His was one of those voices you heard all the time, and when you did, there was no mistaking it for anyone else's. One of my favorite Hal Douglas voiceovers was when he was featured in the trailer for the Jerry Seinfeld documentary, "Comedian". Take a look: Earlier this week it was revealed that a sex tape exists of Johnny Carson and woman rumored to be his third wife, Joanna. She denies it, but the person in possession of the tape is putting it up for sale to a private collector. People actually collect stuff like that, huh? Well since we won't be seeing it anytime soon, maybe we could imagine what it might sound like. Here it is, from the funny mind of Andy Harris, with voices provided by me. Enjoy. |
