Well, fresh off my CNN experience last week where I was featured in a report about people who do Donald Trump impressions(and in my case, people who make "How-To" videos about doing Donald Trump voice impressions) I called into the "Mark in the Morning" morning radio show on 100.3 The Sound in Los Angeles, where Mark wanted to congratulate me on my new publicity. But this was a staged bit, where instead of saying thank you as myself, I responded with 21 celebrity voice impressions. It was a lot of fun, and I thought I'd share the video of that phone call from my end of the line. Hope you enjoy it!
You know, being a voice actor, and recording voice-overs for a living, "recording" becomes the operative word. You get comfortable knowing you can record a take, then another, then delete, and record a voice-over again if you're not happy with it. That is not the case with live radio. You live in the moment. It's happening NOW. You have to commit. Even when you make a mistake, you have to own it, and keep plowing through.
